I wandered in from the nearby hotel and found this cafe to be a fun treat! I ordered an omelette, milk tea, and toast. Didn't expect to get fries too but that's fine. Server was very nice. Paid with credit card, didn't need cash.

We tried this new Hongkong style restaurant with my daughter while she’s visiting from NY a few months ago and we liked it. Yesterday I and my sister came here for lunch after a few hour Golf practice. We’re hungry, the place is quite crowded unlike last time. The place is cool with AC and we like it. The 2 ladies servers are quite pleasant and attentive. We saw so many different dishes people ordered and we wanted to try them all LOL, they all looked so yummy. We noticed the crispy noodles plate that’s very attractive LOL. Ok we ordered that one and my favorite Singapore curry noodles. They have these lunch or dinner combo plates all come with soups which is very convenient and inexpensive. All under $20. We even get soups with our noodles plate too. Nice hot tea and ice cold water are plus. The combination crispy noodles we both voted for A+, the sauce is excellent, the noodles are crispy to the last bites and the portion is big. My Singapore noodles was not spicy enough per my sister, not enough curry flavor and not salty enough. For me it’s flavorful and needs just a dap of salt. I ordered the Minced Pork and Century Egg Congee with the Chinese Donut and it was perfect! The congee was flavorful without feeling overwhelming and oily and the Chinese Donut was fried perfectly and not stale. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place!

I did takeout from New Venus HK Café in Newark and was really pleased. The Shrimp and Scrambled Eggs, Chow Fun, and Sweet and Sour Pork were all flavorful and well-prepared — true Hong Kong-style comfort food. Portions were generous, prices fair, and the food held up well for takeout. Service was friendly, even during the busy lunch rush. Definitely one of the best Chinese fast-food spots in the area!

Got to try out Venus Cafe in Newark recently and ordered a basic brisket rice noodle soup. The flavor was deep as expected, broth comforting, and meat super tender/juicy. My partner's half-half baked pork chop rice was actually a sizeable + hearty portion--perfect post-workout. Love that the interior was clean and casual with its HK decor. Parking was free and easy in the plaza lot. Adding this to my ever-growing list of cha chaan tengs in the area--thanks to my friend Aishi for the rec 😋
